Working in partnership

We are your local NHS organisations in the East Midlands; we are the people who manage and keep your health and social care data safe and secure as part of the services we provide to you.

Your health data is a vitally important part of research to develop more effective treatments, technologies and therapies to imrpove health and safe lives.

We are working with our patients, citizens and communities to ensure that the way everyone's data is used for research is safe, secure and trustworthy.

We are also working with the people who carry out research in the NHS, local authorities, universities and industry to make sure the projects that use NHS data are of the highest possible quality with results that benefit all of us.

Research InSight is part of the way that we are asking you to get involved in conversations about using the data the NHS holds about you to improve all of our lives through better research.

It has been developed by the Research & Innovation department at Nottingham Univesrity Hospitals NHS Trust. Its aim is to to help bring people together to work on, understand and develop solutions for using data in research.
