Connecting data from across the region and the country

The East Midlands is one of the 12 SDEs across England, designed to work as a network. Together this network helps approved researchers by simplifying and accelerating secure access to the health and social care data you need.

Our SDE is currently in development and will join those that are already operational around the country in 2025.

 

The NHS Research SDE Network  features unique linked datasets for research, including genomic, pathology and imaging data, with access managed securely through HDR UK's Health Data Research Gateway.
