NHS organisations, local authorities, universities and communities are working together to develop a new Secure Data Envionment for the East Midlands.
Improving health through research
Secure Data Environments are being set up to securely store, analyse and protect NHS data so that it can be effectively used in research which improves patient care and develops new innovations to keep us healthier.
The East Midlands is one of 11 regional Secure Data Environments which together make up a national Network across England.
In this section we will be publishing details of the development of the Secure Data Environment and more information about how it will work and when it will begin service.
